Bugdom Download Mac

Macintosh game developer Pangea Software, Inc. announced today that they will be giving away 200 free site licenses to their kid-friendly computer game, Bugdom. Two hundred lucky elementary schools will receive a free copy of Bugdom which may be installed on every Macintosh computer at the school's location. According to Pangea Software:

The first 200 elementary schools to submit valid and complete entries for the giveaway will each receive a free site license.

With the Macintosh computer's popularity on the rise again, Pangea president, Brian Greenstone, felt the time was right to let the community know that there is a safe, kid-friendly computer game available that is compatible with some of the most popular computers on the market today, such as Apple's big seller, the iMac. 'Computer games have gotten some bad press lately. We want to let parents, educators, and kids know that Bugdom is a safe, fun, and stimulating game. We also like the idea of giving back to the community, and computers have made us all one big global community,' said Greenstone.

Apple recently gave Bugdom its seal of approval by announcing that Pangea's game will be bundled on their upcoming and much anticipated laptop computer, the iBook.

Pangea is no stranger to this sort of charity. Another of their family-friendly games, the popular Nanosaur, is available for free download from Pangea's web site. 'Actually, Nanosaur is available as charityware,' explained Greenstone. 'That is, if you download Nanosaur, all we ask is that you donate $30 to a charity of your choosing. It's not required and we're not keeping track of donations, we just feel like it's the right thing to do.' Apple selected Nanosaur to be bundled on the iMac.

Complete instructions for entering the giveaway are found on the company's web site. The giveaway is open to elementary schools (grades 1 - 5) in the United States, and all entries must be received by November 12, 1999.
