This Mod 1.16.2/1.12.2/1.7.10 added the sole item that is The Nature’s Compass. If you right-click, you will see a menu that you can select any registered biome. The Compass will point to the nearest biome of that type if you select one.

Furthermore, the compass is pointing at a biome, it will not point at the world spawn, and the Shift-right-clicking will reset the compass’s state. Registered biomes, both vanilla and mods are supported by the compass. The .c-o-n-f-i-g file adjusts sample space and maximum search distance.
You can have mod packs as you want in this mod. It is a good item that can be used to find a biome and view information.

How to install Nature’s Compass Mod
- You have already installed Minecraft Forge.
- Locate the Minecraft application folder.
- On windows open Run from the start menu > type %appdata% > click Run.
- On mac open finder, hold down ALT > click Go then Library in the top menu bar.
- Open the folder Application Support > look for Minecraft.
- Place the mod you have just Nature’s Compass Mod downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
- When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see Mod is installed.
